Model making to test techniques

Model making to test techniques

This is a model I made from scratch to test scenery and the water for my train set.
First I made the basic shape of the bank out of polystyrene then added plaster cloth over the top to add a hard shell. I panted in the water and then added modpoge glue gloss to give the water depth. Slowly I added the scenery like the pier and the path as well as the static grass. The pier was made out of old ice block sticks and thick skewers and then panted.
